eBillSoftwares

These terms govern your use of eBillSoftwares. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

Before you publish

These terms describe how the service actually works, but they are not legal advice. Have a solicitor review them for your jurisdiction and complete the company and governing-law details marked below.

1. The service

eBillSoftwares is billing, invoicing, point-of-sale and bookkeeping software provided over the internet by [Legal entity name] ("we", "us"). We provide the tools; the accuracy of what you record in them is yours.

2. Your account

  • You must give accurate registration details and keep them current.
  • You are responsible for your password and for everything done under your account.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
  • You may create logins for your staff. You remain responsible for what they do.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for anything unlawful, or to issue fraudulent invoices or tax documents.
  • Attempt to access another business's data, or probe, scan or overload the service.
  • Resell or white-label the service without a written agreement with us.
  • Upload malware, or content that infringes someone else's rights.

4. Plans and payment

  • The free plan is free indefinitely and needs no card.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you choose. Prices are shown before you subscribe.
  • We may change prices, but not mid-period — changes apply from your next renewal, and we will tell you first.
  • You can cancel at any time. Your plan runs to the end of the paid period and then stops renewing.
  • Fees already paid are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise, or the service failed materially and we could not fix it.

5. Your data

  • You own your data. Your invoices, customers, products and records remain yours.
  • You grant us only the licence needed to host, back up and display that data so the service can operate.
  • You can export your data at any time, on any plan.
  • If you delete your account, we remove your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Availability

We work to keep the service available and take regular backups, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may take it down for maintenance, and will give notice where we reasonably can. The service is provided "as is", without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Tax and compliance

The software helps you produce tax-compliant documents, including GST, VAT and sales-tax handling. It does not file returns for you and it is not tax advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of your tax settings, the figures you enter and everything you file. Check your obligations with a qualified accountant.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business or lost data. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

9. Suspension and termination

  • You may close your account at any time from Settings.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where required by law. Where practical we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.
  • We will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data before closing an account, except where a serious breach makes that impossible.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to account holders by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], and the courts of [Jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
